Have you been thrown back in the trenches?

Have Your Been Throwing Back in the Trenches as a Coach

There is an odd phenomenon that I have witnessed over and over again when mentoring new health coaches.

It’s what I call being ‘thrown back in the trenches’.

This came into play recently with my UPswing Mastermind students. They were all diving deep into their ideal client/ target market. And things were starting to surface. Wobbles were starting to show.

In the group Laser Coaching calls I was being asked what was going on – why this felt so uncomfortable.

Well, what I have observed from helping hundreds of Health Coaches grow their businesses, is that sometimes when a woman makes a decision to say YES to becoming a coach –not just talking about it, but seriously deciding to go for it– it can feel as if the Universe has a little laugh.

“Oh yea, you’re really serious?” it seems to snicker, “Then let’s throw you back in the trenches to struggle for a bit again – just so you can remember what it TRULY feels like to be your ideal client.”

You see, for many of us we have been called to be a coach after overcoming a massive transformation in our own life.

And after coming out the other side it can feel like ‘I’ve got it’ and I want to share this with other women going through what I did.

But from that place of ‘already mastered this’ we can lose touch with how it felt ‘back then’.  We can be quick to forget the true pain;  what it is really like to be going through that experience.

We forget things like:

·      What you would truly need support on

·      What you would actually buy to overcome the pain

·      What tools and resources you would need to create lasting change

·      What shifts you’d need to make to your mindset in order to heal

And so the Universe gives you a little ‘helping hand’ to jog your memory.

And it might suck at the time (it DOES suck at the time, that I can attest to), but this makes for the creation of a REAL and GENUINE coaching program for your ideal clients – one they WANT TO BUY.  And it makes you an even better coach.  A truly compassionate coach.

And if you wonder why people are lining up to work with you asking, ‘How do you know I feel that way?’ or ‘It’s like you read my mind with your copy…’, it’s because you revisited your former self and got even more clear on what your pain points were and exactly what you did to overcome them.

Here’s a perfect example of how it worked for me:

A few months ago, I myself had a (thankfully very brief) return to the trenches with my money story.

I invested a HUGE amount of money – more than I had ever done in my life – in myself.  And…you guessed it…a whole lot of money fears reared their head.

At first I got scared, and my first reaction was: ‘I thought I had this money thing sorted?!’

Then I realized I was going to have to walk my talk by going back through all of my own teachings again. And because I had to do so step-by-step again – I was able to this time document it as I went.  I delivered those exact steps to the ladies who joined my new mastermind program.

I had never before been able to articulate the ‘steps’ of wealth consciousness with this level of clarity – and days after that training many women were making thousands of dollars from their first clients. (I hadn’t even taught them ‘how’ to get clients yet… it was purely from me being able to teach ‘wealth consciousness’ in a new way after a brief stint back in the trenches).

So, if this phenomenon happens to you when you finally make a proclamation to the universe that you are ready to play bigger (note that my ‘return to the trenches’ happened after I stepped up to a higher biz mastermind’), then try and relax if you can – but most importantly – document what you do to climb back out yourself.

This is what you are meant to be teaching to others!

I’d love to hear your own experiences of being ‘thrown back in the trenches’. Share in the comments how it helped you to grow as a person, and how it shaped what you are teaching (or desire to teach) others.

And if you want to know more about how to get to know who your ideal clients are, then read my blog post, “4 ways to identify your health coaching target audience” HERE:

Pam Quit Her Second Job, Went on Vacation & Doubled her Income

Pam quit her second job

Pam is a weight loss coach for women in corporate jobs who are busy and tired, and more than likely have adrenal fatigue without knowing it. Pam works with them to break the diet cycle: “Most have tried every other diet out there, and I want to teach them how to break the diet cycle and just eat real food,” she says.

Pam was already working in her own Health Coaching practice when she joined the Upswing Mastermind program. She was consulting on the side, and had a few clients on monthly retainers. She’d been coaching for just over a year and a half.

“Business was consistent”, tells Pam. “But it wasn’t really growing. I was terrible with marketing. I had a background in corporate sales and it was easy to sell something else, but to sell myself was a challenge. It was terrifying.”

1. Learning to be more confident

“I’d hear someone talking about nutrition in the office and think, ‘I can help you.’ But I didn’t’ know what to say. I was scared to speak up.”

2. Having a system and a marketing plan

“I felt like I had a plan,” says Pam. “I’d fall back onto my corporate job and think, ‘The systems all make sense, I just have to do this for myself’.  But then, I’d go out there once and then back away and not do anything about it. The Mastermind program had a structure and had everything laid out.”

3. Being part of a support group

“I did one-on-one coaching [before the Mastermind]. I didn’t’ know what I didn’t know. She was there to help if I had a question, but I didn’t know what to ask. In the Mastermind I liked having other people to talk to about the same situations.”

4. Moving to purposeful packages

“It’s been more impactful working with people with a package – saying this is what we’re going to get done in the time period. My retainer clients weren’t focused on achieving anything in particular; they were just kinda chugging along month to month.

I feel more calm now, too. With clients on a monthly retainer, I didn’t’ know when someone was going to cancel. And before I moved to packages, November and December were slow months. Now, I know I’m set for those months.”

After a short while in the Mastermind program Pam decided to quit her consulting job because she didn’t feel it was what she wanted to do anymore. “I gave myself a goal of $4k that month,” she says.

“I went on vacation for a week. I kept repeated the mantra I had set up with Amanda. I looked at it every day.

When I came back from vacation I was still $2k short, and then in the last week of the month I signed up two new clients on packages and made my goal! I doubled my income purely from Health Coaching.”

Pam wasn’t slaving away the whole month, but following the structure and plan of the Mastermind and doing the wealth consciousness work (which is another layer of the Mastermind program) is what got her the results she set out to achieve.

And of course, this is just a snapshot of Pam's business as a Health Coach.

You have to value coaching in order to be a great coach

You Have Value Coaching

I believe that in order to be a great coach, you have to value coaching. Joining a coaching mastermind is, in my opinion, the best thing a new health coach can do for themselves and their business. This means investing in yourself.

Investing in yourself can be one of the most difficult decisions to make when new health coaches are considering growing their coaching business.

Truth - it can be scary!

Yet when you think about it logically, how can you ever expect your potential clients to value investing in coaching, if you as the coach don't value it highly in your own life first?

I caught up with Shaina when she’d just completed my 6 month UPswing Mastermind program and we got chatting about just that.

Let me set the scene: Shaina is a gifted personal trainer, dance teacher and fitness instructor who wanted to grow her business so that she could have more time and money for her family.

My issue was no money to join the program,” says Shaina.

At the time of joining, Shaina was charging $30 a session as a trainer. It’s hard to justify spending thousands on a program when there is not much money coming in to begin with. Well, that’s the logic we naturally apply to a situation like this.

Before I signed up, Amanda gave me a bit of advanced coaching to say ‘go out there and do this’,” continues Shaina. “I knew I had to get some clients before I even started the Mastermind!"

After I picked up my first client it gave me confidence to get more clients to pay for the program. Then, when I knew I could get clients, I felt confident enough to ask to borrow for the first payment, and ever since I’ve been getting clients in order to pay for myself."

Shaina’s story is not uncommon. It is a large story around money itself. It’s the fear that new coaches have to overcome - around investing in the program - that ironically propels them forward.

It was a leap of faith,” agrees Shaina. “I had feelings of knowing the program was for me, and the fear of money, and knowing if I told my husband how much it was going to cost he would say I’m crazy."

I had to overcome that fear and take the leap of faith, knowing that I was going to go where I couldn’t go on my own [in my business] and that the UPswing Mastermind was what I needed in order to get there.”

From charging $30 a session, and a couple of weeks into the UPswing Mastermind program, Shaina started upping her price to $500 for the next clients. “Then 2 weeks later again, I jumped to $1000 for my 3 month program, and it’s gotten better and better."

5 or 6 weeks into the Mastermind I sold a $4000 package for a 6 month program, following the formula of knowing how to get clients."

There is a money block that pops up for coaches who start to make big money called, New Level, New Devil. It’s that feeling of, ‘Who am I to be making this money? Who is this superstar clicking her fingers and making all this money?’

Shaina continues: “The next few months after I’d had great success things went backwards and I was kind of lost and my confidence dropped. It took a couple of months of work to get back to where I was, to get that belief system back up.”

Everyone has their own fears and money blocks; those things that are going to hold us back. But with the tools and the mindset work provided in the UPswing Mastermind Shaina was able to command really great income again when all these new mindset changes came in.

I got myself back in the game,” says Shaina. “You start to remember why you’re doing it; that you’re doing it for everyone else, and then the flow begins and the money comes to you. Last weekend I made $5.5k selling a one on one program.”

Personally, I always have a mentor on my team and I am always in a mastermind (ideal for me is a mastermind with access to a mentor within it). As coaches we will always need a coach of our won if we are committed to growth, expansion and excellence in our businesses. I really don't think it is possible to build a great coaching business alone.

Investing in yourself is a big decision, but it is outweighed by how much money you can generate with a structured program that gives you the tools to go out and get clients. The personal development and money mindset coaching plays a big part in helping coaches to see a return on their investment. When you decide to invest in yourself everything around you opens up. And as a coach, it is imperative that we receive our own coaching support as we continue to grow and evolve.

Ask and you shall receive… (don’t miss out!)

Ask and you shall recieve

Just a few days ago, I hosted an amazing training session where I shared my $5k per month plan. The response has been great. So many people came along to the call, and so many Health Coaches have been sharing their journey.

Now, I've also heard from many of you over the weekend that you missed the call and didn't get a chance to make it to the limited-time replay in time either.

I also know that it’s difficult to do a time that’s suitable for the European time zone.

I don't want anyone to miss out – that wasn't my intention at all.

So I've decided to do an Encore Call and have pulled all stops with my amazing team over the weekend to get another call up and running for you in a few days, at an earlier time.

My big breathe out process

My big breathe out process

Just before I wrapped up for the year I spent a divine Sunday with one of my mentors, Rebecca Campbell, at her Spirited Urban Retreat.

Perched right on the beach, there was really nothing Urban about it, but it symbolized leaving our lives behind us to experience a BIG breathe out of a day to release 2015 straight into the waves ahead of us.

For many of us, 2015 was not an ‘easy’ year, but one of immense growth (it certainly was for me), and I knew it was important to take space to release that.

While I did this process mid-December (on the new moon) and then prepared to take some quality time off, I know that many of you will choose the start of 2016 to release and ‘complete’ 2015.

I wanted to pass on my version of the process, so that you too can bring closure and gratitude to 2015, then have a big breathe out and a pause before welcoming 2016.

You’ll want to grab a journal and a candle.

You’ll also need about 30 minutes to take time to get into your heart – ask your body what it needs and be led intuitively – dance, meditate, stretch…

Light your candle and ask to be connected to your heart (not your head) and start answering the following questions in your journal:

Let your pen guide you and don’t judge the answers, just let it all out onto the page.

Q1. What am I most grateful for from 2015?

Q2. What has expired in my life now?

Q3. What’s no longer in alignment in my life?

Q4. What’s rising in me now?

Wrap this up with another mini-meditation and release the process for a few days.

Please be kind to yourself as you allow 2015 to fall off you in the coming days (there’s no rush here. We’re not ‘cutting off’ 2015. We’re releasing it gently. It served us well).

During this time you might take some time to connect with family and friends; to really prioritise joy, fun and self-care.

When you’re ready, I’d love to share what came after my big breathe out.

My Booking System of Choice - And How I Take Client Payments?

My booking system of choice

When you’re setting up your successful Health Coaching business, it pays to have a scheduling system in place that will keep you from playing email tag with clients, or double-booking yourself. Yes, it’s absolutely FINE to start out with Google Calendar if that’s what feels comfortable for you.

I’d love to share with you a couple of booking systems that might suit you and where you’re at in your business (And at the end of this blog post I talk about what method I personally use to take client payments).

Also, if you’re diving right in and you are aiming for those $5K months, you might want to consider investing in something more long-term; something that will work well with you as you grow your business.

Want to know what MY booking system of choice is? I’ll get to that in a minute. First, let me talk you through a couple of other options:

For a FREE scheduling system that ticks a lot of boxes, it’s worth having a look at Calendly. You get 14 days free at the Premium level when you sign up. I like that they don’t ask you for a credit card. If you want to continue with Premium, it’ll set you back just $10 a month.

Calendly integrates with both Google and Office 365, so you’ll never double-book yourself. When you schedule an appointment in Calendly, it will add it to your calendar of choice.

When you invite your client to the appointment, they can add it to their favourite calendar in one click. It even sends email confirmations and reminders to clients (these are customisable, too!).

Calendly also allows you to set buffer times in between appointments – sometimes they’re a lifesaver!

Are you enjoying this post? I created a free worksheet for you to learn how to easily take client payments! Click the button below to get it right now.

Appointlet takes things a step further than Calendly in that it has payment collection built in. You can arrange to collect a deposit, or have clients pay full price. You just hook it up to your Paypal or Stripe account (and others).

It’s designed to integrate with Google Calendar and you tell it when you want to be booked and for how long.

And you can control appointments from your own Google Calendar, if you like, if, say, you need to reschedule or cancel something last minute.

Appointlet also integrates with your website and has a cool, responsive design. If you don’t have your website up and running, you can share your scheduler via email, on your social medium of choice, or send it as a link to your clients.

There’s a handy contact information feature in Appointlet – it will collect client phone numbers, addresses and Skype addresses and pop them into your calendar so you have that info at hand for the appointment. Like, Calendly, Appointlet will send email reminders out to clients.

Okay, I think you’ve waiting long enough to find out what my booking system of choice is. Drum roll…

It’s Satori. Their tagline says it all for me: “Simple, Beautiful, Affordable Client Care for Coaches”. And it really is.

I personally use Satori as my ‘hub’. I store my client details in there.  I’m able to customise and store my packages and programs in there (Satori calls these ‘offers’).  I send out marketing emails from there, too.

I can match my brand to my Satori app, so when clients land on my page, they get to experience the essence of who I am and what I can do for them. Clients are able to create their own account in my app, which gives them the ability to control the scheduling.

Lachlan Cotter, founder of Satori, is passionate about delivering an unsurpassed booking system to coaches. He is dedicated to continually upgrading and taking its functionality to the next level. He invites and encourages feedback from coaches, too, which I feel really gives this app the edge.

Some of Satori’s features that have me sold, are:

  • Being able to create a template for my Discovery Sessions, Coaching Programs, Signature Package. In this template I can enter intricate details, such as the length, how many sessions, the fee (and whether there is a free session).

  • Having agreements that I can customise for certain clients without having to create a whole new template for sessions, programs or packages. Sometimes things fall outside the box – I love that I have control over them!

  • Client contracts that are linked to the templates; with merge fields for that personalised touch.

  • The ability, like Calendly and Appointlet, to block out times when you’re available for sessions (and I can vary these sessions to fit with the type of package or programs I’m offering). And the ability for clients to manage their own appointments – in the event they need to cancel or reschedule.

  • Something that I’ve found invaluable is being able to customise appointment times so that, for example, only clients in another time zone can book a certain spot you’ve reserved.

  • Reminder emails that are automatically sent out can include a questionnaire for my clients to fill out before they come (checking in with them; getting a heads up on what they’d like to address, etc). The responses are stored against their contact record – see why I call it my ‘hub’?

  • Automatic invoicing and tracking of payments.

  • I can even link Satori to my email list!

Pricing for the Satori booking system starts at $29 per month (at the time of this blog post). You can sign up for a 30 day free trial (no credit card required) if you want to explore the features for yourself.

Don't forget to download your free worksheet to learn how to easily take client payments! Click the button below to get it right now.

This is a very popular question amongst new coaches. I have to say that Paypal is an extremely simple and safe option for client payments. It’s great for those clients who are overseas, as it takes care of the foreign exchange side of things for you.

Paypal allows you to invoice direct from your account, too. There’s no monthly fee for having a Paypal account, but they do take a small percentage off each payment you receive.

There are other methods out there for taking payments from clients. Nudge Coach shares a few in their blog post HERE (they also cover the charges you’ll incur).

I cover contracts, payments, client booking systems and all things business in detail in my signature program UPswing Mastermind for Health Coaches which starts again February 2016. (And Lachlan from Satori teaches one of the masterclasses within the program too)

Who else wants $5k months AND a life you love?

Who else wants $5K months AND a life you love

When choosing a coach to work with this year I was presented with the question:

"Do you want to create an empire or a lifestyle? They are very different paths..."

And without any hesitation at all I chose the lifestyle!

You see there are plenty of ways to make great money as a coach, but there are very few plans out there that allow you to do so without working long hours and hustling 24/7 on facebook. And I don't know about you, but one of the main reasons I got into coaching was to live life on my terms.

Lately more than ever, since I have consciously chosen to work much less than previously, I am full of so much gratitude for how my business allows me the beachside, healthy lifestyle I love so much.

And of course this is just my version of how I choose to run my business, clients of mine are currently living their own versions of freedom - working from Bali for 3 months, coaching from Italy or claiming back more time with their kids during the week.

How would your ideal business/lifestyle model look?

Honestly, there is a lot to learn in the first year or so of your health coaching business, but one thing I am so passionate about is ensuring that all new coaches set the foundations of their business on the right foot from day one - and this includes not just how many clients you want to work with and how much money you want to make, but how you want your days and weeks to look doing so.

You need a map - a plan - to design your business along the path you desire!

And in the video I have created for you today I give you that exact plan if you are looking to make $5k per month AND have a life - ready to use for yourself!

Click here to watch this brand new video >>

In today's video, I show you:

  • How to design your $5k month business/lifestyle model BEFORE you build your business

  • How to create packages that will sell, with a step-by-step action plan to create your first package and start earning real money. Confidently.

  • How to set the correct pricing for your packages so that you're paid the right amount for your services in your Health Coaching business.

  • PLUS - the key mistakes I see new Health Coaches make (hint, do not go make a website)

7 ways to Stop Self-Sabotage in your Business

7 Ways to Stop self sabotage in your business

I'm back in Sydney after 2 glorious weeks in Bali - seriously I think Bali is THE perfect holiday spot in the world. Warm, sunny, loving people, raw food and yoga galore! #bliss

A key thought that arose for me when I stopped 'working' while on holiday was that I personally have a deep knowing that you are MEANT to get your health work out to the world now - the world is so ready for what you have to offer - and I think deep down you know this too.

So why then would you keep getting in your own way???

On one hand you want nothing more than to build your business and help as many people as possible. On the other hand, you seem to keep going round in circles.

Frustrating right?!

I hear you! For way too long I was stuck in my head trying to 'work it all out'. When I changed my mindset to believe that I was MEANT to be getting my work out to the world and am ALWAYS SUPPORTED in doing so, then I started trusting and taking imperfect action despite my fears.

You see we have a sneaky monkey-mind (or Ego) that likes to jump in and fill us with fear when venturing into this new territory of business.

The monkey mind tells us 'nothing is working', 'it's not going to work for you', 'you are not expert enough yet', 'who do you think you are to charge for this' and on it goes.... Creating a barrage of negative thoughts that keep you playing small.

Listening to our Monkey-Mind causes us to Self-Sabotage!

But what if those monkey-messages were not the truth?

What if you got out of your own way and started taking imperfect action in your business every day KNOWING that you are MEANT to do this and are fully supported?

How would you act differently if this were to change?

For me this changed everything and today I wanted to share with you 7 things I do regularly that keep me building my business from my heart, not my head.

1. Journalling
- I started journalling 3 pages a day after learning 'Morning Pages' from Julia Cameron's book The Artists Way about 9 years ago and have never stopped. It is my number one go-to for getting everything out of my head and onto paper.

2. Meditation
- I alternate in my approaches to Meditation depending on what I am focusing on or working through. I was recently introduced to the new 1 Giant Mind phone app which I am LOVING. Daily meditation will change your approach to your business dramatically, and the app is perfect to pull out any time of the day if you catch yourself being run by Mr Monkey Mind.

3. Working Out
- I have realised that there is a direct link to my Monkey Mind playing up when I am not regularly exercising. For the last year I have committed to my exercise routine by having my Personal Trainer come to me at home twice a week, and whenever possible I love to take the afternoon off to walk around the rocks with a girlfriend.

3. Yoga
- When we spend so much time in our heads, we can literally get stuck there. Yoga connects me back to my body, heart and breathe like clockwork. I have a wee yoga corner set up in my office to practise Restorative Yoga which is my favourite and I have done several yoga retreats this year to deeply reset, let go and connect to MY truth.

4. Angel Cards
- Every morning and night I pull an Angel Card (or other card deck) to help me connect to my inner guidance. I also work with these when coaching to remind myself and my clients to get out of our own way. My favourite card decks for business are 'Success Cards' by Deepak Chopra and 'Money and the Law of Attraction' cards by Esther and Jerry Hicks.

5. Taking Proper Breaks
- The catch-cry of the coaching industry can be 'work from anywhere' and while I CAN do that, in general I choose not to. Why? Because when I book a holiday it is important to me to have time completely disconnected. I do regularly work in different locations around the world, but I set clear boundaries on what is 'work' and what is a 'break'. I spent the last 2 weeks in Bali and the first week was work, the second a complete break. Weekends are also breaks and other than during 'launch periods', I don't work at night. Work smart and hustle when you are 'on' and then allow yourself to properly turn 'off'.

6. Intention Setting with Essential Oils
- Essential Oils can quickly change your emotional state. I work with the highest quality oils and my favs are labelled with an intention which I believe works on 2 fronts. First by the power of my thought behind using that oil and secondly the vibration in the oil itself. My fav oils are made by my friend Michelle of Sacred Self -  'Abundance', 'Passion', 'Truth' and 'Self Love' are some of my favs to work with in business.

7. Reading Books on Wealth Consciousness
- Approaching business and money from an energy perspective is a great way to get out of our heads and connect with the bigger picture. A couple of my go-to books are 'The Science of Getting Rich' by Wallace D Wattles, 'Money a Love Story' by Kate Northrup and 'Sacred Success' by Barbara Stanny.

On top of these tools, I always find that remembering that my work is not 'about me' and keeping focused on how I can serve those who need it most is key in staying out of my own way and creating self-sabotage.

I'd love to hear in the comments below which of these techniques you are going to commit to for yourself. And please share any of your own tips on how you overcome self-sabotage in your business.

How much can you charge as a Health Coach?

How much to charge as a Health Coach

Maybe not what you thought…

Been pulling your hair out on what to charge as a Health Coach? There’s no one black-and-white answer on what to charge, so I’m not surprised if you are feeling confused.

When I first started out as a health coach I had no idea what to charge. I see this as one of the biggest stressors of the new Health Coaches I mentor today.

Most health coaching schools don’t teach how to price your packages.

And one of the biggest traps we can fall into is comparing our services to doctors, naturopaths or nutritionists and feeling we must charge ‘in accordance with their rules’.

Arrg – just typing that made me feel so constricted!

I’m not really one for ‘rules’.

The truth is, as a Health Coach, what you charge is completely up to you!

But there is one secret:

Coaches do not charge by the hour – they charge for the outcome.

You can charge as much as someone VALUES your service. (and it must start with how much YOU value your service first)

How much would you value being privately mentored by someone who has achieved the result you desire?

How much would it be worth to finally get the desired outcome you have dreamt of?

If a woman comes to you wanting to lose a dress size by her wedding, you are not selling your time – you are selling her the OUTCOME. She doesn’t care if you offer her 30 minute sessions or 60 minute sessions, she doesn’t care if you see her weekly or bi-weekly.

She only cares that she looks great in that dress.

She cares about the OUTCOME.

And that outcome is hugely valuable to her.

Now caveat here: Selling ‘outcomes’ does not make you as the coach responsible for the clients result. You are responsible for providing the tools, the resources and the accountability for them to reach their goals.

But you can not be there at 2am if they wander into the kitchen and pull out a tub of ice-cream… And the client knows that.

So drop the fear of ‘what if the client doesn’t take action’ and instead focus on what is HUGELY valuable that you have to offer her.

Take out a piece of paper and pen right now and journal on the following questions:

  • What am I offering that can have massive results in a client’s life?

  • What skills and strengths do I offer that are of massive value to someone struggling in this area?

  • How would having me by her side during this journey be of value?

  • What would it be worth to my client if they go these results? How would their life change for the better?

  • How would their life look in 6-12 months if they do not take action?

  • What would this result save them in other expenses?

Getting really clear on the result you are offering and the value of this solution is the key to knowing what to charge.

Your experience is what they are buying, and your ability to help them get to their desired outcome via shortcut of your learning’s instead of taking years to work it out by themselves. (that in itself is a massive saving)

Time is THE most valuable thing we have, so if you can offer someone a shortcut… a time-saver… then you are offering massive VALUE.

But what you can charge as a Health Coach actually starts within.

Money is value – so to charge a higher rate you need to first value yourself and your services, then believe that others value them too.

The trick to staying in integrity with your pricing is to always know that you are giving MORE VALUE than the price tag you attach.

Now I’m not advocating charging sky-high rates in your early days as a Health Coach.  Start at a price-point that you KNOW you are giving massive value at without any question.

The quicker you get yourself in the game and start coaching, the quicker your confidence will grow along with your confidence to charge higher rates.

I am an advocate for charging where you are truly at ‘energetically’.

When my Health Coaching business first started thriving I was charging around $300 a month.

Mentors and coaches started telling me to ‘double your rates’.

I doubted this… “No-one will pay  that much” “I’m not worth that much” “I’m too new to charge that much”…

Yet at the same time a number of people started asking about coaching who I knew made great money and I took this as a sign to up my rates.

I upped my rates to $500 a month….

And my business nose-dived!

Why? Because I didn’t truly value myself and my services at that level yet.

So I went back to charging $300 a month and business took off again.

Then a few months later I accidentally quoted $350 a month, and a month later again I accidentally quoted $375 a month – and clients kept flowing in naturally.

I was naturally lifting my prices to my TRUE ALIGNMENT.

So as a health coach you can offer good money for your 1:1 coaching services and there is no ceiling in what you charge.

As long as you keep offering more value than the price amount you receive, you keep coaching to build confidence over time and you keep blasting your own money blocks from within, then you will be able to keep lifting your rates.

And as a Health Coach, once your 1:1 coaching is thriving, you can also start to add other passive income streams to your collateral such as ebooks, online programs, detox packages, workshops and speaking gigs.

As a Health Coach there are many ways you can make great money!

My golden rule is that as long as you are always offering massive VALUE to your clients, then great VALUE will come flowing back to you.

I believe that Health Coaching is set to have a MASSIVE impact on society in coming years. The world is slowly but surely waking up to the impact that our diet and lifestyle are having.

When you are giving such tremendous value to those in such need (which let’s be honest, is most of society) you will indeed be rewarded in return with great value financially.

NOW is the time for you to get in the game, even if that means working for free to build your confidence to start with – there is no rush to make your first million this year – but if you are called to get the message of health out to the world then I urge you to start building your confidence, as your leadership is going to be needed massively in coming years.
